So, how did you all do in the Coffee, Tea and Thee Challenge?
TELL US ALL ABOUT IT
+ Did you finish the challenge in one of the categories? If so, which one?
+ Did you finish the challenge with one from each?
+ What books did you read?
+ Where they any good?
+ Where they the books you had planned to read, or did things shift mid-month?
+ What else did you read?
+ What are you currently reading?
+ Anything else to share?
P.S. Answer as many or as few of those questions as you'd like.
REMINDER
Please feel free to post in April. ♥
You can check out our slots so far if you'd like. I won't be around for the first couple of weeks of April, so if I don't reply right away to your comment signing up, feel free to go ahead and post whenever. :)
no subject
nope. I'm a slacker
+ Did you finish the challenge with one from each?
yes, although I'm loosely interpreting 'coffee' and invite everyone else to do the same.
+ What books did you read?
Coffee == The Last Policeman by Ben Winters ((they seem to have coffee frequently))
Tea == The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton, ((Australia and England))
Thee == Roadside Picnic by Arkady Strugatsky ((S))
+ Where they any good?
yes! I enjoyed everything I read this month for varying reasons.
+ Where they the books you had planned to read, or did things shift mid-month?
no, I'm still planning on reading The Coffee Trader and will definitely read The Dervish House in April (it's a book club selection).
+ What else did you read?
Blood Rites (Dresden Files #something) by Jim Butcher, Star Wars: Scoundrels,
+ What are you currently reading?
The Calling of Katie Makanya: A Memoir of South Africa by Margaret McCord
+ Anything else to share?
I have two VERY long flights in front of me, so I expect lots of reading to take place in the near future. YAY BOOKS!!
