We tend to point out faults, bad experiences, complain when someone is rude, etc. But what about the reverse?

What sorts of things have you seen lately that you thought were worthy of kudos? Did you see a stranger help someone out of a jam? Did a customer service person go above and beyond? Did the mail carrier smile at the barking dog? Did a stranger smile and say hello as you passed them on the street?

The next time you are presented with a chance to be a little extra nice, what are you going to do?

I went to Whole Foods this morning and a worker was actually walking a flower delivery man out of the store and around the block to help him find the office building he was looking for. :D

That's a great point. If everyone did one random selfless act of kindness each day, I think the world would be dramatically different. Something so simple can really have a big effect on people.

Yeah, it's like that whole "pay it forward" concept.

Next time I'm in starbucks (or whatever) I want to do that thing where I give them like $20 and tell them to pay for people in line until it runs out. It'll only get a few people, but it just might make someone's day. And $20 is worth that.
