If you're not a woman, I bet you're at least related to one...
Below is a basically a 'pimp' of another community (which we try not to do too much of here at the coffee house). But, I feel very strongly about the topic of women's rights and about access to health care. I thought perhaps some of you might as well.
Recently, the two topics have come together and fandom is doing what fandom does best.

Many women rely on Planned Parenthood to provide affordable medical care and various cancer screenings. In addition, they both educate and advocate on topics of reproductive health and have done so for almost 100 years.
You can read about the organization here at their site.
If that sounds like an organization you can support, I encourage you to check out the charity auction above and consider donating some of your fannish skills to the cause. Then, on February 14th, come back and bid on some of the goodies!!
