Hello Coffee House!! How are things?
Getting a glimpse of 'home' was rather fun in May, thank you to all who posted and discussed.
For the month of June, I challenge you to make a post to the community involving ARTS & CRAFTS. I had a tangent that got me to the idea -- it involved summer camp as a child, crayons, rubber bands and coffee cans. But I won't bore you all with the details.
Instead, I want to know what sort of ARTS & CRAFTS you engage in. Make something and share!
Some ideas you could use:
- knit a Jayne Cobb hat
- build a macaroni castle
- take up calligraphy
- repurpose something random and decorate it as a birdbath or lawn ornament
- make a felt taco
- I hear http://pinterest.com/ can be kinda crafty -- what have you found?
Don't do arts & crafts? Why not? Wouldn't it be fun to try something for no reason other than it might be kinda fun?

I'm not crafty, but I will do SOMETHING even if it's nothing more than a page out of a coloring book. Who's with me?
You are not limited to the theme of the month. As always, the community is still open for all sorts of social posts. If you'd like to formally sign up for a specific topic, we have openings for June in our barista host-a-post so feel free to drop by.
P.S. We didn't have food or books posts in May, and for that I apologize. I'd love to see some takers for those in June if anyone's interested. Thanks!!
