If you don't have one at all, tell us what you'd like to do? I want to finish college. I am twelve credits shy of my degree in US and European history (double major with a minor in Native American studies). I do not want to teach, particularly, but if I did, it would be in a charter school setting.
What do you do? Currently, I only volunteer, but in the past I was an EMT/Firefighter- EMS is what I went to school for, but the department I worked for required that we do some firefighting training. I also was a prep and short order cook and contemplated some culinary training and still am considering it. I've done other jobs along the way- cashier, IT consultant, lawncare, etc.
Do you enjoy what you are doing? Why or why not? I enjoyed working as an EMT. I also enjoy cooking. The stress got to me on the EMT job, so I don't think I would like to go back to that and to be honest, my knees are fried- I'd be a liability if I was back at my old department. I love to cook, and would enjoy working in a kitchen again. My love, however, is doing historical research.
Best thing to happen to you while on the job? Saving lives, helping people.
Worst thing to happen to you while on the job? Not being able to help people. Burning myself.
