(I semi agree with you on the zombies thing because I do appreciate a good zombie movie once in awhile, but as cute as it is, the trailer for Warm Bodies really weirds me out.)

My roommate and I were watching tv the other night, and the trailer for World War Z came on, and we were both really intrigued, because it looked fascinating and awesome and then BAM IT'S ABOUT ZOMBIES!! and while she cheered, I was all NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. And she thinks it's hilarious because now I'm going to have to see it, dammit. She's gonna wind up with clawmarks on her arm.

The World War Z movie looks horrendous. But the book was pretty good? There's only limited zombie mentions there but the human drama was really well drawn.

(But seriously! Warm Bodies! Who thinks ZOMBIE ROMANCE is a good idea? I can't not think of anything but necrophilia every time that trailer comes up)

....oh god, what? Zombie Romance?! ~HORRIFIED~ i have not heard about this at all.

It's a movie with Nicholas Holt as one of those slow moving zombies. Who just looks like attractive dude with slightly abnorally pale skin and dark eye shadow. Apparently all he wants to do is *connect* with someone, but oh, well, he's dead.
Then he meets bad-ass apocalypse surviving girl, falls in love with her and gains a heartbeat and comes more and more "alive"? Then the trailer shows how all the *really evil* zombies (the one who are like mindless evil rat-like skeletons) are going to try to kill everyone and meanwhile all the human shaped zombies are catching heartbeats like it's a virus and they *come back to life* or something so they help the humans.
