How Drinking Coffee Could Improve Your Health
Do you drink coffee? Tea? other caffeinated beverage?
Favorite? Least favorite?

even more than pancakes. No. Really.
I drink it black, I like light roast versus dark roast, Dunkin Donuts is crack to me.
I also drink tea on occasion, more during the winter. I don't drink soda pop.

...I drink a lot of water, and when I am in Europe or on a train I drink tea with milk and sugar, and at home i own a ton of nice organic tea, but seldom drink any: it's like a pastlife memory of "must have tea here for guests", but i never have any guests or tea...! I don't drink soda or any of that yucky chemical stuff...we have a couple of those Fentimen's soda in the house somewhere, but they don't get consumed much...
...and singing: I like singing...

What is a Fentimen's soda?

I am, however, a huge Tea drinker. I have close to 100 different Teas. No, I do not have an addiction.}:P

What is your top 5 favorite teas?

I have a ridiculous number of teas in my cupboard right now - my favourite is probably the cinnamon tea (my whole cupboard smells of cinnamon now, it's that strong), though the strawberries & cream one with actual bits of strawberries is a close second). Coffee-wise my heart will forever belong to Starbucks' dark cherry mocha - so disappointed it hasn't been in the redcups selection the past few years.
no subject
I love it when stuff like that happens.

I would like to be more of a tea snob but I often feel it too expensive to justify, since I don't drink tea every day and when I do it's more of a "utility beverage" - I just want something warm, or whatever - than enjoying the tea for itself. I don't have a proper tea "layout" with a good pot and nice cups and all. I would really like a glass pot so I can use those "blooming flower" teas, but again, kind of a lot of expense to justify when I am the only real tea-drinker in the house.
Coffee, we have an Aeropress in my house, and it's really true, if you follow the directions precisely it can make mediocre coffee into quite good coffee. It does not, IME, make excellent coffee better, though, nor can it make bad coffee very good. We tend to use it kind of wrong (water too hot, wrong proportions) on purpose, though, because the first time we tried it it was so successful at avoiding the bitter properties etc. that our palates hardly registered it as "coffee." So we add some of that back in by purposely screwing up the technique.
no subject
Using it wrong on purpose amuses me. LOL- Obviously whatever it's doing isn't making the kind of coffee everyone would like without some futzing about with the details? IDK, it looks interesting though.

I drink "herbal" teas and green tea but not actual tea lol.
i don't drink coffee

Wait, there was a question too. Tea and coffee, tea during the day and coffee in the evening. The amount I drink I'm pretty much immune to caffeine, so I don't get troubled sleep from it. Tea and coffee both with one sugar and lots of milk. :]

I also drink hot chocolate (with Peppermint Schnapps!) in the winter.
I never make coffee at home, but if I'm out and I want caffeine, I'll get a flavoured latte from Starbucks or Second Cup, or a coffee/hot chocolate mix from Tim Hortons. Not exactly coffee, but tasty.

Is it already time to break out the holiday cheer?

That middle shelf is almost entirely tea. And this picture is about 2 years old, when I first moved into my house, and now that space on the left side of the shelf is also taken up by tea.. I HAVE FOUR TEA KETTLES.

It's like I don't know you people!!!
FOUR TEA KETTLES -- LOL!

I prefer my coffee strong tasting, but with lots of milk. And cocoa.

I'm also mesmerized by your icon, adorable!

I do drink tea. No particular kind or anything. Mostly I drink it when its cold out and I want something hot. I love iced tea. Especially peach. That is my crack. I'll also drink hot chocolate for something hot. Sometimes I will add peppermint schnapps to it.
If we have pop I will drink that. I'm really trying to not be so bad about that though but its cold now and probably staying that way so I won't drink it as much during fall/winter.

I miss people calling it POP. I've lived out east for too long.
((not sure how I missed your comment, /derp))

More importantly, how are you?
OH, need to answer the question--
I do not drink coffee or tea, and now I stopped drinking pop every day. I stay away from caffiene if I can b/c it drives my anxiety way up--plus, I don't like coffee or tea. I'll only drink tea when I'm sick or a cappucino once in a very blue moon.
no subject
I know some non-coffee drinkers who have pretty bad reactions, anxiety-wise, to caffeine, so I understand. I'm also thankful that either I've conditioned myself or wasn't affected in the first place.
OMG it's so funny how many people in a community called COFFEE HOUSE don't drink coffee. It amuses me. :)

I also drink black coffee, but for some reason I don't like filter coffee.

I hear you! I'm that way about coffee. I also really like black tea when I drink tea. And I like saying Oolong.

I always tried to get into the tea habit, but haven't yet. If I drink it a couple days in a row I start to get really tired of it.

I also drink tea, hot or cold (usually drink green tea, lemon, and strawberry).

OMG, I have like back-up coffee makers!! I even carry instant in my pocket book for emergencies. Yes, ordering from cafes can be VERY expensive.

Volunteering for a discussion post would just involve posting an interesting question and then being present for the feedback, right? Or is here more to it? (I shouldn't have volunteered without asking, but...)
no subject
Like brewed spiced tea or full-deal with milk and sugar?
I like both ways, TBH
YAY!! Yeah, discussion posts are pretty laid back here - anything goes, really. I'm just thinking maybe people sign up for Topic/Month and then sometime that month post something on said topic. That is hopefully free-form and flexible enough for pretty much anything.
There seems to be enough interest I should make a volunteer FAQ post. :D People are also welcome to post randomly as the mood strikes them as well.

I have half-strength (single shot) coffee, usually a caramel latte or something similar. I'm trying to expand my range and get used to it :p
Sweetners like syrups and chocolate added help!
Not a huge tea fan, but it's growing on me. I like fruity flavoured ones!
Learning to be a barista is totally exciting and I'm loving it, but I'm still not very good :p

I find coffee drinks made from espresso, or regular coffee in places like Starbucks (not sure if that's where you are or some other similar coffee shop) tend to be too strong for my taste. Also, there's a big difference regionally when you're not at a chain.
mm... caramel latte

Tea...I've never been too big on, but I love bubble tea, haha. Taro is my favorite flavor.
