The book is kind of more and less disturbing than the premise at the same time? I don't think they're going to do some of the really gross stuff. But yeah. I was a little concerned for when the movie was being released in the States. January (and parts of February) are considered 'dumping grounds' for terrible/mediocre movies, and the Feb 1st release date makes me think that the movie is going to be terrible or didn't test well with audiences.
