Current Fandoms: Hobbit(really, just back to the Tolkien-verse which was one of my first fandoms), Doctor Who, Avengers, Sherlock, The Thick of It, Inception, a whole bunch more, especially some Yuletide ones I've been reading recently Past Fandoms: I don't ever really leave fandoms? I always tend to find my way back. Like my frequent pilgrimages back to the worlds of Harry Potter and Stargate. If I see good fic pop up for a fandom I've been in before, it'll probably prompt me to go running back to that fandom for awhile. (I think the only fandoms I've left are ones I had to ragequit the canon? *cough*RTD*cough*) Things you like about these fandoms: (ships, characters etc. etc.) Character meta and shipping may be my two favourite things in most fandoms Except the Tolkien one where I just want backstory or world building or interludes. But I tend to ship and want meta all over the place, a lot of multishipping (I think my pinboard has almost 400 different pairing tags?), but I have some favored pairings like Tony/Loki, Malcolm Tucker/Swearing, Arthur/Eames, and Destiel. Oh, and Xena/Gabrielle was my first ship ever which I discovered because I learned what shipping was.
Movie you are most looking forward to seeing this year: Well, my most anticipated movies for 2012, 2013, and 2014 are all The Hobbit films. Outside of that, Pacific Rim maybe? (I am anticipating Iron Man 3 and Star Trek and The World's End, but the trailer for Pacific Rim looks too amazing.) Book you are most looking forward to seeing this year: I don't know what books are due out this year? I just take recs and book lists as they come. Tv Show you are most looking forward to seeing this year: It would have been Community before the Dan Harmon thing happened. So Doctor Who probably.
Hobbies The internet, reading, writing, tv and movies, knitting, fencing, tae kwon do, historical and mythological research, writing (but usually anon in kink memes), music, and tea collecting. Favourite season Winter! Cold weather, snow, extra reasons for hot drinks, and excuses to wear that 'tree of Gondor' scarf I knitted Favourite food Spicy foods. I tend to cook a lot of Korean for myself, and make it as spicy as possible, but I will just gravitate towards the spiciest thing I can see on a menu when I eat out.
What you are looking for in a friend: someone who won't be put off by my craziness or bouts of fannish excitement/obsession, some appreciation for fandom for at least the books/tv/movies canon would be lovely, someone who maybe share interests with me but can introduce me to new ones!
