Based on our latest poll, it seems there's interest in quite a few topics and a couple folks seemed willing to help host some more regularly scheduled posts, so YAY!

Since the two most popular topics in the poll were for cooking/foodie things and books, I'll map those out as regular features. We can always add more, because it seems like things like general fandom/meta, tech/gadgets and writing/creating are popular ideas, too.

To volunteer, simply reply with the month and topic you'd like to sign up for. Then, when that month rolls around make a post. Easy-peasy, right?

Keep in mind that posting is always open, check the FAQ, but really if you want to talk about something you're more than welcome to make a post. The purpose of volunteering is to try and generate some regularity and encourage participation.

...my health etc. has been irregular, so I can't commit right now, but I am interested in music, namely people who play instruments (namely my thing right now is getting obscure acoustic instruments into rock and metal, but I am under no illusion that everyone does this...!), so maybe we could get into that sometime, and I am working on an MBA involving psychology of finance, so I always have access to articles etc. about improving your life and also your financial situation, if any of that would appeal to anyone...I know this is not me officially signing up as requested, but maybe it'll give people ideas, or they might want to cohost it or something...!

I can do something in November or December. Not books please. I love books, but I have no idea what I'd post about... I am an acoustic musician, so I could do something music related? I'm hoping that seeing what other folks post in October will help give me ideas...

Still thinking on a January topic. Could be TV, but I might try to find something else.
